7.40am

Market looks to be trending up in early hours trading.
Greece continues to jitter the market, to what extent that is already priced in is unknown.
Will the market continue lower as long as bad news is on the table
Where will the good news come from to improve confidence?
Will talk of Greece leaving Euro increase or decrease confidence?

sell 5463 short 5 7.49am
For a quick 5-10 minute trade, expecting a 10 point drop
shorted out
-5

This was a bad trade because it was a pure gamble, little thought process. These are the kinds of trades I must eliminate and I must paper trade until they are gone.

Don’t predict the market, let the price indicate the trend.

The price does not always indicate where the trend is going, it’s at these points I should not trade.

Don’t think about what the market is going to do but let your eyes tell you in the simplest terms where the trend is going.

The chart is telling me buy, 803am but my brain keeps telling me, “what about Greece?”

The trend took it past 5500 at 8.50am and now it’s swinging down

sell 5489 stop 5 9.07am

As news is still bad I see no reason for the trend to stop going down and even if it is now sideways we are probably at the top of it. Possible 5440 by 10am, but there is no real way of knowing that, but it feels right.

There I go thinking again.

Sell at 5474
+15

Mostly out because am going to be busy on a coaching call, but seems to be the right time to get out whilst we see what the market mood is.

Buy 5459 12.21 short 5
shorted out
-5

Trend is down, but how low can it go.

Don’t think, look at the chart.

Buy 5459 12.21pm short 5
shorted out
-5

sell 5452 short 7 12.24

Trend is down
GO with trend
It’s a no brainer but my brain fights what it sees

shorted out

-7

Rest of the day I was doing other things, but there were a couple of chances.
It may be I am trading too much and need to make only 3 trades a day when the set ups are obvious.
